How You Can Stay Safer
And Prepare With Knowledge
You Didn't Even Know You Needed
With the world in the state that it's in,
it's even more important to
protect yourself and your children.
Not by being afraid,
but having information needed to take care of things
if an emergency were to happen.
This includes staying safer from family members, entertainment industry, people in the educational system, sexual exploitaion, trafficking, grooming and other areas of subject that seem to upset people in a variety of ways.

There are other names and we won't go into that now.
The links found in the information on this page can be overwhelming and troubling, most are not for children but for more for men or women who have the Stomach to see or hear what's being shared.
Many years ago I wrote about, taught, went in to schools in the small communities in and around the small communities in the area we lived. My husband, children and myself shared how children could stay safer from those who want to harm them.
This didn't mean we never had problems; it only means because of the information, we were able to stay safer than had we not had the information.
Back then I had an editor, I'm not worrying about that anymore, there are some things too important and there's no time to waste.
During those years I began to understand the catastrophic problem with abuse, especially with women and the most innocent, the children.
Men were seldom mentioned; this could be that most men never report these crimes against themselves and humanity.
No, it's not just about one person.
The abuser has a lust that he or she cannot contain or control. One that takes over them without discretion at times and or lack of discipline.
They continue to abuse; while they tell you that they love you.
They tell you that you can't tell anyone else or you won't be together anymore.
They tell you not to tell anyone or they will kill something. Your cat, friend, parent or some stuffed animal you shared too much knowledge about online.
Part truth. Part Lie.
They love what they can get from you.
They will go to prison so no, you won't be together anymore.
They want to control you with fear so they conquer and break you.
You are ONLY being used.
If you felt something while you were reading this and you may feel you're being used, you more than likely are.
You need to leave that person or situation right away.
It's Okay though; You're not alone.
There are millions hurting and not understanding. There are many that want to get out. Live a different life away from abuse you can never speak about. Hold it all inside so maybe it will just go away.
I'm going to tell you right now: Your situation will NOT go away, you have to move away from it now. You have felt it, you know it. You just aren't sure what to do.
At that time, 20+ yrs. ago, the average boy was molested 1 out of 6 boys. Those where only the crimes according to the records. The average girl was 1 out of 5 girls if memory serves me. These were children from the earliest of ages including infants and toddlers up to 18 yrs. of age.
Those were stats I was unwilling to sit still over and I began to write even more. This led to speaking in homes, and small family gatherings with Christian and Homeschool families.
Over the years I watched my own children subject to these crimes against children even in one of the homes we were speaking in - an older child there was targeting my daughter because she was the new kid.
Without understanding what we were there for the child proceeded to try to get my very shy and quiet little precious child to participate in something she understood was wrong. She may have been 6 or so.
While I was speaking, I heard my little poptart say "NO!", "I Said NO!" very sternly and loudly which she never ever did: and I took off running.
I already knew the signs and my two miracle children had learned early how to stay a little bit safer.
I was able to help change that particular situation.
However, I found that throughout a child's life, each is faced with many, many more of these same scenarios from anywhere and everywhere.
Personally, I thought there was something wrong with me until I grew up to find this is an epidemic nobody is talking about.

What Program Can Help Keep My Child Stay Safer?
The Yello Dyno -
When my children were young I found a child safety program called the Yello Dyno that teaches children in a very non threatening way how to stay safe.
Unlike the other programs for children out there, the researcher, author and speaker, Jan found that even when children have the information, they still froze under fear.
She went into the prisons and asked over 100 child predators what they did to get the children.
Each predator had their own story and skills.
Working with the authority, surviors of crimes, the prisoners information, statistics and determination; Jan wrote for the safety of children and families everywhere.
This information was written over 30yrs. ago so what I was able to find at this point is below.
Get Two Copies of Your Child's Fingerprints
The first is a finger print pkg. and book. Get your children printed while they're young and keep a copy in a post office box and one in your home.
Finger print your children: This is just in case. We never know if something is going to happen we just pray and hope we never have to experience this type of horror.
Why does it matter to fingerprint your children?
This is YOUR copy or your childrens prints, it doesn't go anywhere else unless something should happen.
The time it takes to find a missing person depends on the information the authorities have on the person.
When you take your child's prints, make sure you give them the understanding of what this is for. Not in fear, but for future knowledge.
In normal settings, we want children to behave so we do tell them to keep their hands to themselves when we take them in public.
However, when a child has been removed without a parents knowledge, it should be made clear that they have to let you know where they are.
Since you have their prints you're able to get them to the authorities in a timely manner.
Teach your children to touch things if they are taken without your knowledge. "Touch the counter, touch the doors on the refridgerator, on the front doors coming in and going out, touch the side of the cash register. Be specific so you both know how to find one another.
The more evidence the better chances of finding your little pop tarts. :-)
One thing is for sure, if you have a copy of your child's fingerprints, you can get it to the proper authorities more quickly.

You came and sat with me at a conference you spoke at with other celebrities and actors. At some point you came to the back where I was and sat down next to me. We shared fries together and I will always appreciate your warmth and kindness during that small fraction of time.
